Special AKAM Week – Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The Flag hoisting ceremony was held on 15 August 2021 at the Embassy premises during Mission’s Iconic Week to celebrate India@75 ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The programme included reading the excerpts of the President’s Address to the Nation by Ambassador, followed by cultural performances by young kids, singing of patriotic songs. Prizes were distributed to winners of patriotic song competition.
On the occasion, Mission announced the official launch of Global Painting and Poster Competition organized by ICCR. Mission also shared details of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s 3-day film festival on ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Around 100 members of the Indian community attended the Flag hoisting ceremony.
