Special AKAM Week - Illumination of Hotel 2 Fevrier with Tricolour
As part of Iconic Week to celebrate India @75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Embassy organized an event on 14 August 2021 at Hotel 2 Fevrier, an iconic building in Lomé and one of the prestigious hotels in the west African region, by illuminating it with tricolour. The event was organized in partnership with Indian diaspora.
Ambassador and some members of Indian diaspora spoke on the occasion. The programme included screening of a video clip on AKAM on the big screen of the Hotel. A short film obtained from Invest India on “Emerging India” was also screened. Young children from Indian diaspora gave a cultural performance, followed by a reception.
