7^th India Water Week 2022

        The Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, is organizing an international conference, 7^th India Water Week-2022 (IWW-2022), at India Expo Center, Greater Noida, adjacent to Delhi, during 1-5 November 2022.

The main objective of IWW-2022 is to provide a forum for various stakeholders (policy makers, water managers, professionals, academia nationally and internationally, and the user groups from the different sections of the society) wherein all water-related issues will be discussed and measures identified to address various challenges of water security for sustainable development.  The theme for IWW-2022 is “Water Security for Sustainable Development with Equity".

IWW-2022 will have various events in the form of seminars, panel discussions and special sessions organized with cooperation of stakeholders, including international organizations and partner countries.  An exhibition supporting the theme and showcasing the technologies, latest developments and solution available in various fields related to water security for benefit of various stakeholders and general public would also be organized.  About 2,000 professionals in the field from India and abroad are expected to participate in this event.
